Vegan pizza (gluten-free) is delish and the most appetizing thing about it is, the infinite variations of pizza toppings you can enjoy! And, even though marinara is the most sought after sauce for the base, you should give this recipe a try with a pesto sauce or walnut and sundried tomato paste. You can improve and develop on the taste purely by trying something new each time.
Preheat oven to 375 degrees F (190 C) and line a baking sheet on your pizza pan (to be placed in the midsection of your oven).
To a medium mixing bowl, add the almond flour, potato starch, flaxseed meal, baking soda, oregano, garlic powder, and sea salt and combine.
In a separate mixing bowl, combine vinegar, olive oil, and water. Add wet ingredients to dry ingredients and stir to mix until a dough forms.
Transfer dough onto a clean surface, flatten and shape into a circle or square depending on the shape of your pan. It should be about 1/4-inch thick as the dough will rise slightly when baking.
Transfer the crust to the oven and bake for 8-10 minutes. Remove the crust from the oven and top with desired sauce and toppings.
Bake for a further 15-20 minutes or until the toppings are slenderly cooked and the crust is golden brown and firm to the touch. This gluten-free vegan pizza goes well with arugula (rocket) as a garnish or fresh toppings on your pizza.
