Popcorn is the ultimate snack for sharing and indulging in, especially during those fun movie nights. This homemade popcorn recipe is easy to make and perfect for producing in bulk.

Ingredients
 25 g popcorn kernels
 ½ tbsp coconut oil
 ground sea salt (to taste)
Optional
 1 tbsp nutritional yeast
 ½ tsp garlic powder
Instructions
1

Add coconut oil to a large pot and place over high heat. When the oil is hot enough, carefully add 2 individual kernels to the pot and cover.

2

Once the individual kernels pop, uncover the pan and carefully remove the popped kernels. Then, add the rest of the kernels making sure to cover again. Give the pot a shake every so often to prevent burning.

3

When the popping dies down remove from heat immediately. It’s optional, but for additional flavour you can now add the rest of the ingredients and give the pot a good shake to combine and serve in bowls, or for a plain popcorn only add salt.

Serve immediately or keep leftovers in a sealed container at room temperature for up to 5 days.
