Garlic bread goes beautifully as a starter or side. Perfect for sharing and ideal for dipping in soups and sauce based dishes. This recipe is simple to make and delicious.
Preheat the oven to 360 deg F. First, Add garlic cloves, parsley, oregano, salt and pepper in a food processor and pulse until ingredients are finely chopped and processed.
Slice the french loaf or ciabatta bread with 1cm thickness, and very lightly coat each slice with vegan butter (optional) or olive oil.
Heat olive oil in a medium frying pan and add the garlic mixture. Cook for two minutes and remove the pan from the heat. Spread the garlic mixture on bread.
Place the slices of bread in the mid section of the oven and bake for 5 minutes, turn them over and continue baking for an additional 5 minutes. Or, broil using top grill if you want the garlic bread to be extra crunchy.
